Caitlin & Tom at Browsholme Hall
An intimate wedding at Browsholme Hall and The Tithe Barn near Clitheroe. A small guest list, close friends and family, and a dog as ring bearer.

Browsholme Hall doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to. Set just outside Clitheroe, it’s calm, understated, and quietly impressive, which made it a perfect fit for Caitlin and Tom.
This wasn’t a wedding built for a crowd. It was built around the people they’re closest to, the kind of day where everyone knows each other and nothing feels forced. Add their dogs into the mix, including one with the all-important job of ring bearer. And it was always going to be relaxed in the best possible way.
From the start, the day felt intentional. No rushing, no over-planning. Just close friends, family, and space to breathe.
Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn work brilliantly for this kind of wedding. The setting is historic, but it doesn’t feel stuffy. Everything flows naturally from one moment to the next, which makes it easy to forget the camera is even there.

The ceremony took place in the Tithe Barn — simple, intimate, and full of feeling. Everyone was close enough to see the reactions, the smiles, the nerves. And then came the dogs.
Caitlin and Tom’s dog made their way in as ring bearer, immediately cutting through any formality that might have been left. It was one of those moments that reminds everyone why smaller weddings work so well and nothing feels staged, and the best moments happen without trying.

Once the ceremony was done, the rest of the day just… happened. Drinks, conversations, people catching up without looking at the time.
Photos were kept easy. Short walks around the grounds, natural light, nothing posed for the sake of it. Caitlin and Tom never disappeared from their own wedding, which is always how it should be.
Browsholme’s grounds are perfect for this with quiet corners, soft light, and space that doesn’t feel manicured within an inch of its life.

The energy stayed the same all day. Relaxed. Comfortable. No pressure to turn it into something it wasn’t.
Their dogs stayed close, guests settled into the space, and the whole day felt more like a really good gathering than a formal wedding. The kind you don’t want to rush through.

Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn are ideal if you want a wedding that feels grounded and personal. Historic without being stiff. Beautiful without trying too hard.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding at Browsholme Hall and want photos that feel honest, relaxed, and a bit rough around the edges in the best way, that’s exactly the kind of day I love documenting.
