Italian Destination Wedding at Masseria Fulcignano
Masseria Fulcignano Wedding Photographer. A Destination Wedding in Puglia, Italy

Flying from Manchester to Puglia for this wedding felt like stepping into holiday mode straight away, and Masseria Fulcignano couldn’t have been a better setting. Surrounded by olive trees and quiet countryside, it has that laid back, sun-soaked feel that instantly puts everyone at ease. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a rushed or formal kind of wedding weekend, it was all about enjoying the place and the people.
The celebrations actually kicked off the day before with a pool party, which was the perfect way for everyone to settle in. Lots of Aperol, sunshine, music, and plenty of laughs set the tone for the rest of the weekend. It gave everyone a chance to relax, shake off the travel, and just enjoy being together, and it made the wedding day itself feel even more natural and connected.

On the wedding morning, things were super chilled, with preparations happening around the masseria at a nice gentle pace. Doors open, music playing, friends popping in and out. There was no pressure, stress or rushing around . The ceremony took place outdoors among the olive trees, simple and personal, with beautiful light and lots of emotion. It felt intimate and honest, and typically Italian..

As the sun dipped, the celebrations flowed into a long Italian evening. Amazing food, plenty of wine, relaxed speeches and dancing under the stars. Photographing this wedding at Masseria Fulcignano was a reminder of how good destination weddings can be when they’re done this way! Chilled, joyful, and focused on spending real time together in an incredible place. One of the highlights of the evening was the neighbours dog crashing the speeches. The night finished off with an absolutely gigantic tiramisu, not your average wedding cake cut.
